Selling my Breville BES980XL espresso machine. I purchased this machine in the condition that it’s currently in as a project to restore . Unfortunately I never had the time to commit to it and it’s sat unfinished for too long.
The machine heats up, pumps and steams. However, I am listing it as “for parts” because it is in fairly bad shape. The things I know that are wrong are as follows:
Many dents on the stainless steel body
Panel gaps from those dents
Water filling port is cracked and was sealed with some glue
Water reservoir o ring leaks
Grinder hopper not recognized even when locking button is pressed
Additionally, this does NOT come with the accessories typical of this machine. What you see is what you get. There is NO portafilter, baskets, tamper fan, bean hopper, or frothing pitcher.
